Earlscourt Edwardian — Edwardian interior design in Earlscourt, Toronto

The home was taken back to its bones and rebuilt with intention. New siding, partial fascia, windows, and a new front door refreshed the exterior, while the front porch was fully redone and the landscaping reimagined with a custom iron gate at the entry — giving the home a quiet, considered street presence.

Inside, every floor was gutted and reconfigured. The main floor was opened up into one connected living space, anchored by a kitchen with a generous new window above the sink that pulls natural light deep into the home. Upstairs, the second floor was reworked into three bedrooms and two three-piece bathrooms, designed around how a modern family actually lives.

A new third-floor loft was added — a light-filled retreat with skylights, a wet bar, and a fully private rooftop terrace complete with an outdoor shower. Below, the basement became a second full living level: a bedroom, three-piece bathroom, office, and wet bar, finished as flexible space for guests, work, or family.

Outside, the garage was converted into a private living space with its own wet bar, and a raised deck was added to the backyard — extending the home’s footprint into every corner of the lot.
